Configuring Your Domain to Use Ezoic
This article explains how to configure your domain to work with Ezoic.
About Ezoic
Ezoic is an advertising platform and Content Delivery Network (CDN). When integrated with your site, it acts as a proxy between your site and visitors, customizing content based on machine learning algorithms.
To use Ezoic, you need to change the nameservers for your domain to connect it with Ezoic’s network.
Configuring Your Domain
To set up Ezoic for your domain, follow these steps:
-
Log in to cPanel.
-
On the Tools page, in the Domains section, click Zone Editor, locate your domain, and click Manage.
-
Note the DNS records for your domain. You will need these later to verify that Ezoic imported your DNS records correctly.
-
Log in to your Ezoic account. If you do not have an account, go to https://www.ezoic.com/join-ezoic to create one.
-
Under Integrate Your Site, click Get Started.
Alternatively, go to Settings → Connection → Nameservers and click View Instructions. -
Note the nameservers provided by Ezoic for your account.
-
Change your domain’s nameserver records to the values provided by Ezoic.
-
For domains hosted at ruachost.com, follow the guide provided by ruachost.com for updating nameservers.
-
For domains at a third-party registrar, follow the instructions provided by that registrar.
-
Important: DNS changes may take up to 24 hours to fully propagate across the internet, though it often happens faster.
-
After DNS propagation, go to Settings → DNS in Ezoic and compare the imported records to the DNS records you noted from cPanel. Add any missing records by clicking Add DNS Record.
