WebCalendar is an open‑source web‑based calendar application. It’s designed for individuals, groups, and organizations to manage events, schedules, and appointments. With Softaculous, you can install WebCalendar quickly and easily through cPanel.

Steps to Install WebCalendar

Log in to cPanel.

Navigate to the Softaculous Apps Installer section.

Search for WebCalendar.
-
In the Softaculous dashboard, type WebCalendar in the search box.

Or browse under Calendars → WebCalendar.

Click Install.

The installation page will open.

Choose Protocol.
-
Select
https://orhttps://wwwif your site has an SSL certificate. -
Select
http://orhttp://wwwif SSL is not installed.

Choose Domain.

Select the domain where WebCalendar will be installed.

Set Directory.

Leave blank if you want WebCalendar installed at the root (e.g.,
example.com). -
Enter a folder name (e.g.,
calendar) if you want WebCalendar installed atexample.com/calendar.

Configure Site Settings.

Site Name → Enter the title of your calendar.

Admin Username → Choose a unique username.
-
Admin Password → Use a strong password (Softaculous provides a strength meter or can generate one).

Admin Email → Enter the administrator’s email address.

Database Settings.

Provide a database name or accept the default.

Configure table prefix if needed.

Advanced Options (Optional).

Configure automated backups and rotation.

Enable email notifications for updates.

Choose auto‑upgrade options for WebCalendar.

Install.

Review settings and click Install.

Wait for confirmation. Softaculous will display the WebCalendar login URL (e.g.,
example.com/calendar).
