Steps to Install PrestaShop

Log in to cPanel.

Navigate to the Softaculous Apps Installer section.

Search for PrestaShop.

In the Softaculous dashboard, type PrestaShop in the search box.

Or browse under E‑Commerce → PrestaShop.

Click Install.

The installation page will open.

Choose Protocol.

Select
https://orhttps://wwwif your site has an SSL certificate. -
Select
http://orhttp://wwwif SSL is not installed.

Choose Domain.

Select the domain where PrestaShop will be installed.

Set Directory.

Leave blank if you want PrestaShop installed at the root (e.g.,
example.com). -
Enter a folder name (e.g.,
shop) if you want PrestaShop installed atexample.com/shop.

Configure Store Settings.

Store Name → Enter the name of your shop.

Admin Username → Choose a unique username.

Admin Password → Use a strong password (Softaculous provides a strength meter or can generate one).

Admin Email → Enter the administrator’s email address.

First/Last Name → Enter administrator details.

Select Language.
-
Choose the default language for your store.

Database Settings.
-
Provide a database name or accept the default.

Configure table prefix if needed.

Advanced Options (Optional).

Configure automated backups and rotation.

Enable email notifications for updates.

Choose auto‑upgrade options for PrestaShop.

Install.

Review settings and click Install.

Wait for confirmation. Softaculous will display the PrestaShop login URL (e.g.,
example.com/admin).
