WordPress allows you to customize your site’s appearance by adding or changing the background image. This feature is available in most themes that support background customization. On ruachost.com, you can easily set a background image through the WordPress Customizer.

Steps to Add or Change Background Image

Log in to WordPress with an administrator account.

In the dashboard, go to Appearance → Customize.

Select Background Image (this option appears only if your theme supports it).

Click Select Image.

Upload a new image or choose one from the Media Library.

Adjust display settings:

Preset → Fill Screen, Fit to Screen, Repeat, or Custom.

Position → Center, Left, Right, Top, Bottom.

Attachment → Scroll or Fixed (fixed keeps the image in place while scrolling).

Preview changes in the Customizer.

Click Publish to save.
