Brand Indicators for Message Identification (BIMI) is a DNS TXT record that points to your company’s logo file. When properly configured, supported mail clients can display your logo alongside authenticated messages, improving trust and brand recognition.
Prerequisites
Before creating a BIMI record:

Configure SPF and DMARC for your domain.

Prepare a valid SVG Tiny Portable/Secure (SVG P/S) logo file.

Steps to Create a BIMI Record in cPanel

Log in to cPanel.

On the Tools page, in the Domains section, click Zone Editor.

Locate your domain → click Manage.

Click Add Record.

Enter the following values:

Name →
default._bimi(cPanel will append your domain automatically). -
TTL →
14400. -
Type →
TXT. -
Record →
v=BIMI1; l=https://example.com/logo.svg(Replace
example.com/logo.svgwith the actual URL to your SVG logo file.)

Click Save Record.

Allow time for DNS propagation (usually within 24 hours).
Testing Your BIMI Record

Use Mx Toolbox BIMI Lookup to verify the record.

Ensure your SPF and DMARC records are valid, otherwise BIMI will not function.
