How to Use Imunify360 in cPanel
1. Viewing Detected Malware

Log in to cPanel.

On the Tools page → Security section, click Imunify360.

The Files page lists any malicious files found.

2. Ignoring Safe Files

In the Files page, click Ignore List on the top toolbar.

Click + Add new file or directory.
-
Enter the path to the file or directory.
-
The item will be added to the ignore list.
3. Configuring Proactive Defense
Proactive Defense protects websites running PHP against zero‑day attacks.

Modes:

Disabled → No protection (not recommended).
-
Log Only → Suspicious activity is logged but not blocked (default).
-
Kill Mode → Malicious scripts are terminated immediately (recommended).

To configure:

Log in to cPanel → Security → Imunify360.
-
Click Proactive Defense on the top toolbar.

Select the desired mode.
For maximum protection, leave Proactive Defense in Kill Mode.
