4images is a web‑based image gallery management system written in PHP. It allows you to organize, display, and manage image collections with features like user registration, templates, and plugins. With Softaculous, you can install 4images quickly and easily through cPanel.

Steps to Install 4images

Log in to cPanel.

Navigate to the Softaculous Apps Installer section.

Search for 4images.
-
In the Softaculous dashboard, type 4images in the search box.

Or browse under Image Galleries → 4images.

Click Install.

The installation page will open.

Choose Protocol.

Select
https://orhttps://wwwif your site has an SSL certificate. -
Select
http://orhttp://wwwif SSL is not installed.

Choose Domain.
-
Select the domain where 4images will be installed.

Set Directory.

Leave blank if you want 4images installed at the root (e.g.,
example.com). -
Enter a folder name (e.g.,
gallery) if you want 4images installed atexample.com/gallery.

Configure Site Settings.

Site Name → Enter the title of your gallery.

Admin Username → Choose a unique username.

Admin Password → Use a strong password (Softaculous provides a strength meter or can generate one).

Admin Email → Enter the administrator’s email address.

Database Settings.
-
Provide a database name or accept the default.

Configure table prefix if needed.

Advanced Options (Optional).

Configure automated backups and rotation.

Enable email notifications for updates.

Choose auto‑upgrade options for 4images.

Install.

Review settings and click Install.

Wait for confirmation. Softaculous will display the 4images login URL (e.g.,
example.com/admin).
