Steps to Install Zen Cart

Log in to cPanel.

Navigate to the Softaculous Apps Installer section.

Search for Zen Cart.

In the Softaculous dashboard, type Zen Cart in the search box.

Or browse under E‑Commerce → Zen Cart.

Click Install.

The installation page will open.

Choose Protocol.

Select
https://orhttps://wwwif your site has an SSL certificate. -
Select
http://orhttp://wwwif SSL is not installed.

Choose Domain.

Select the domain where Zen Cart will be installed.

Set Directory.

Leave blank if you want Zen Cart installed at the root (e.g.,
example.com). -
Enter a folder name (e.g.,
store) if you want Zen Cart installed atexample.com/store.

Configure Store Settings.

Store Name → Enter the name of your shop.

Store Owner → Enter the store owner’s name.

Store Address → Enter the physical address of your store.

Admin Username → Choose a unique username.

Admin Password → Use a strong password (Softaculous provides a strength meter or can generate one).

Admin Email → Enter the administrator’s email address.

Database Settings.

Provide a database name or accept the default.

Configure table prefix if needed.

Advanced Options (Optional).

Configure automated backups and rotation.

Enable email notifications for updates.

Choose auto‑upgrade options for Zen Cart.

Install.

Review settings and click Install.

Wait for confirmation. Softaculous will display the Zen Cart login URL (e.g.,
example.com/store/admin).
