Steps to Install WHMCS

Log in to cPanel.

Navigate to the Softaculous Apps Installer section.

Search for WHMCS.

In the Softaculous dashboard, type WHMCS in the search box.

Or browse under E‑Commerce → WHMCS.

Click Install.

The installation page will open.

Choose Protocol.

Select

Choose Domain.

Select the domain where WHMCS will be installed.

Set Directory.

Leave blank if you want WHMCS installed at the root (e.g.,

Enter a folder name (e.g.,
billing) if you want WHMCS installed atexample.com/billing.

Configure Admin Account.

Company Name → Enter your company name.

Company Email → Enter your company’s email address.

Valid License Key → Enter your WHMCS license key.

Admin Username → Choose a unique username.

Admin Password → Use a strong password (Softaculous provides a strength meter or can generate one).

Admin Email → Enter the administrator’s email address.

First/Last Name → Enter administrator details.

Database Settings.

Provide a database name or accept the default.

Configure table prefix if needed.

Advanced Options (Optional).

Configure automated backups and rotation.

Enable email notifications for updates.

Choose auto‑upgrade options for WHMCS.
