The WP Toolkit in cPanel provides a simple interface to install, activate, update, and remove WordPress themes. This helps you keep your site’s design fresh and secure without needing to log in to the WordPress dashboard.

Installing a Theme

  1. Log in to cPanel.

  2. On the Tools page → Domains section, click WP Toolkit.

  3. In the site list entry, click the Themes tab.

  4. Click Install.

  5. Browse or search for a theme.

  6. Select the theme and click Install.

    • Use the search box or filter sidebar to refine results.

 

Managing Installed Themes

  1. In the Themes tab, you’ll see a list of installed themes.

  2. Available actions:

    • Enable/Disable → Toggle a theme on or off using the slider in the State column.

    • Update → If updates are available, click Updates, select the theme, and click Update.

    • Remove → Click the trash can icon to uninstall a theme.

      • You can also remove multiple themes at once by selecting checkboxes and clicking Remove.

    • Manage in WordPress → Click Manage in WordPress to open the WordPress dashboard for advanced theme settings.

 

Notes

  • WP Toolkit assumes you already have WordPress installed.

  • Always keep at least one default WordPress theme (e.g., Twenty Twenty‑Four) as a fallback.

  • Removing unused themes improves security and performance.
