Overview

This article covers frequently asked questions related to billing on ruachost.com.

How do I manage billing at ruachost.com?

You can manage all billing activities for your Ruachost.com account directly from the Client Area.
For detailed steps, refer to the article Managing Billing in the Client Area.

How do automatic renewals work?

Most ruachost.com services operate on a subscription basis and renew automatically at regular intervals.

  • Domains renew annually.

  • Web hosting plans may renew monthly, yearly, or every three years depending on your chosen billing cycle.

When you place an order, your initial term is clearly shown. At the end of that period, your service will automatically renew unless you cancel it beforehand. You can view your renewal date anytime in your  client area ruachost.com.

Renewal invoices are generated ahead of your renewal date. If you have a payment method saved, your renewal payment will be processed automatically no action required.

By default, ruachost.com processes auto-renewal 3 days before your service’s expiration date. This prevents downtime for time-sensitive services like domain names and SSL certificates.

If you don’t have a payment method on file or wish to pay manually, simply log in to ruachost.com to update your payment details.

Manual Renewal

You can set certain services (like domain names) to manual renewal by disabling auto-renewal. This prevents automatic invoice generation and payment capture.
However, you must manually renew the domain before it expires to avoid losing ownership.

Note: Manual renewal is not available for hosting plans, as these do not expire immediately. ruachost.com offers a generous grace period for late renewals.
If you do not wish to continue a service, simply cancel it in your Hosting Panel your account will automatically expire at the end of the billing term.

Can I change my billing cycle?

You can check your billing area in ruachost.com for details. Typically:

  • Web hosting accounts include a 3-day grace period.
