E‑mail forwarders let you automatically redirect incoming messages from one address to another. This is useful if you want multiple people to receive messages sent to a single address, or if you want to consolidate mail into one inbox.
Types of Forwarders
-
Account Forwarders → Forward messages from one specific e‑mail account (e.g.,
info@example.com) to another (e.g.,support@example.com). -
Domain Forwarders → Forward all messages sent to one domain (e.g.,
@test.example.com) to another domain (e.g.,@example.com).
⚠️ Important: Forwarders also forward spam. If too much unsolicited mail is forwarded, services like Gmail or outlook may block your server’s IP. As an alternative, configure Gmail or outlook to pull messages directly from your hosting account.
